PRODUCTION AND REVISIONS:
- Created in 2025 by David Bakker in OOMapper 0.9.5. Fully fieldchecked (albeit in a bit of a rush...)
DATA AGREEMENTS:
- Uses LiDAR sourced from LiDAR BC under the Open Government Licence
LAND OWNERS:
- District of Lake Country for the Rail Trail, some municipal parks along on it. Should be permitless for using this up to ~100 people, details are here.
- Oyama Community Club for the clubhouse & ball diamond/sports field on the middle-west of the map. They should be emailed, and if there is no other event scheduled, likely don't have a problem with a few people running around outside. But be sure to check in first.
- The Oyama Traditional School grounds is part of the Kelowna School District. Principal is a former adventure racer, but permitting must go through official channels with the school district rental process. Expect ~$25 for exclusive use of the field area/parking.
- North tip of the map is an RDCO park. If using as the parking/main venue should be getting a permit from them.
