PRODUCTION AND REVISIONS:

David Bakker (2020) in Open Orienteering Mapper 0.9.3. Contours based on District of Lake Country 2015 contour data (fairly poor contour data).

Updated in 2026 by David Bakker in OOMapper (0.9.5). Primarily worked on trail updates, but a bit of some trail updates as well. Slight expansion in the SE corner of the map to expand all the way to the official park boundary.

LAND OWNERS:

District of Lake Country Municipality Park. Relatively easy permit application through the parks department. Cost in 2026 was $22 for a non-SI timing training event for an evening.

Private residential property mapped as Olive Green (Out of Bounds).

Safety Bearing: West to Tyndall Road.

UNIQUE SAFETY CONCERNS:

  • Some Smaller Cliffs
  • Vehicle traffic on roads
  • Flying baseballs from Ball Diamonds
  • Fast Mountain Bike Trails in the SE corner of the park (but the trails don't seem to get that much use).
