Last Sage event for the year. There will be 3 courses on this nice open Ponderosa Pine forest. A new area to explore if you haven't been there before. Nice trail system for running, hiking, and mountain biking. A central location for those club members from Salmon Arm, Kamloops, Vernon, and Kelowna.
Registration
Please sign up ahead of time to make sure we print enough maps and have waivers signed. Day of registration may be accepted but may have to share maps.
All participants must be a member of the Sage Orienteering Club (membership is cheap, and is for insurance purposes), a visitor from another Canadian club, or get a Day Membership.
Entry fee - There will be a donation box on-site.
Courses
The courses will be a classic format with point to point navigation and you must find all the controls on your course in order.
Course 1 - Beginner - For younger athletes who may want to try do the course on their own or with a friend. Also suitable for beginners.
Course 2 - Intermediate - Longer distance and more technical. More navigation off trail required.
Course 3 - Advanced - Longest course and the most technical.
Timing
SI units will be used. SI sticks available for those who don't have a personal one.
The club also has a few thumb compasses to lend out.
