Overview

Welcome to our Kelowna fall training series through September and into early October! These low-key orienteering activities will happen every Wednesday evening at 6:00pm at a different location in the Kelowna area. There will be both beginner and advanced courses, so there is something for everyone and their family.

Meeting Location

We will meet at the picnic tables just outside and below of the Gymnasium building, right above the sports field (see the map pin at the bottom of the page for more details).

Paid parking is in effect at all times at the UBCO campus, but the cheapest parking at this time of day seems to be the Gym parking lot M, where you can get 2 hours of paid parking for less than $5. There is either the HonkMobile parking app, or a dispenser.

Most UBCO buildings will be open with washrooms available, but we do not have any spaces booked for our exclusive use, so please be polite.

Registration

If you have registered once for the fall series, you are good to go! We are expecting you!

If you are a Sage Orienteering Club member or a visiting member of another club, then register once for the fall series and participate in as many as you can! If you already registered for a previous event in this series, you're good to go. If you registered for the spring series, your membership is still valid, but please register for the fall series event so we know you are coming!

Cost

  • No cost to Sage Orienteering Club members
  • $5 for visitors from other Canadian and international orienteering clubs
  • $5 per event for day-of-event participants to try it out before getting a club membership

We try and keep costs to a bare minimum while still paying for insurance and map printing. Everybody here is a volunteer doing our best.
