Overview

Morning orienteering activity for juniors ages 8-18. This session will be an introduction to orienteering for those who have never tried it before or who may have who may have tried it 2 or 3 times. We will be running/walking on trails and in the forest. You need a suitable pair of runners and dress for the weather conditions of the day. Layers are good. No compass is required. You will be navigating using a detailed map. If we have time for compass work the club has a set that we can use. Adults are welcome to tag along especially if your child is 10 or younger. We will always be in groups of 2 or more. If you have questions please contact Phil Wallensteen at wallfen@gmail.com.
