Overview
Welcome to our Kelowna fall training series through September and into early October! These low-key orienteering activities will happen every Wednesday evening at 6:00pm at a different location in the Kelowna area. There will be both beginner and advanced courses, so there is something for everyone and their family.
Terrain
Okanagan College is undergoing some significant construction right now, so the map has lots of weirdly shaped out of bounds areas, but still lots of pedestrian passages between these areas - so it should be exciting, fun, and different from every other time you will be on this map. This is our first time on this map since 2018, so it has been freshly updated!
Wear footwear where you don't mind running on cut grass and pavement. This is an entirely urban event, there is no forest running. Please remember to bring a headlight - its getting dark out there!
Meeting Location
Park in the large parking lot by the residences, meeting location is on the NW corner of the parking lot. Paid parking ($5 for the evening) is in effect, so consider taking transit, biking, or carpooling. The map pin below shows the exact location where the start/finish will be.

Registration
If you have registered once for the fall series, you are good to go! We are expecting you!
If you are a Sage Orienteering Club member or a visiting member of another club, then register once for the fall series and participate in as many as you can! If you already registered for a previous event in this series, you're good to go. If you registered for the spring series, your membership is still valid, but please register for the fall series event so we know you are coming!
Cost
- No cost to Sage Orienteering Club members
- $5 for visitors from other Canadian and international orienteering clubs
- $5 per event for day-of-event participants to try it out before getting a club membership
We try and keep costs to a bare minimum while still paying for insurance and map printing. Everybody here is a volunteer doing our best.
