Overview

Would you like to learn how to read a map and learn about the sport of orienteering?

This clinic is perfect for the first time participant who wants to learn the beginner basics of orienteering while enjoying nature and the trails of Spion Kop. Learning will take place while walking a beginner course as a group where you can ask questions, meet other beginners and experience the joy of finding a control!

We will include an instruction booklet for you to take home and this clinic will be a perfect lead into the intermediate clinic October 14.

The course is 2.7km long, good walking shoes and pants are recommended. Hat and sunscreen, and a water bottle is suggested.

Children are welcome with parents supervision.

Group leaders will support and assist you so you can learn and stay safe while enjoying the sport.
