Directions
Note: Google maps may show driving through from the Savona side. This is only appropriate for higher clearance vehicles. Suggested entrance is from the East near Tobiano.
From Kamloops, take Highway 1 west towards Savona/Cache Creek. Watch for the tobiano exits. After the second main Tobiano exit the highway starts to climb towards the viewpoint. Look a left turn after 800m. Caution, it comes up very suddenly and you are crossing a busy highway with no turn lane. You may find you need to continue up the highway to the next pullout, safely turn around and then it’s easier to turn off.
From Savona, coming down from the Kamloops Lake viewpoint turn off right onto Six Mile Road 800m before the Tobiano junction.
Continue up Six Mile road for 2.7km, staying right at the junction. Park at the second lake (Pat Lake).
