Overview
Welcome to our Kelowna spring training series through April and into early May! These low-key orienteering activities will happen every Thursday evening at 6:00pm at a different location in the Kelowna area. There will be both beginner and advanced courses, so there is something for everyone and their family.
Meeting Location
At the west end of Trail Crescent, trailhead for Quail Flume trail. See map pin at bottom of page for exact meeting location. Parking in the lot is a bit limited, with street parking available, but please be courteous to residents of this area and carpool if possible. Thanks!
There are no public washroom facilities anywhere in the vicinity.
Registration
If you are a Sage Orienteering Club member or a visiting member of another club, then register once for the series and participate in as many as you can! If you already registered for a previous event in this series, you're good to go.
If you are new to orienteering and would like to try this activity as a day-of-event participant, please register each time you attend an activity.
Registration is at the following Interpodia 2M Events link:
https://2mev.com/#!/events/kelowna-spring-training-series-2025
Please register as soon as possible, and no later than Wednesday evening, the night before the activity, so that we know roughly how many participants to expect and can print enough maps. We will print a few extra maps, so if you don't register in time we may still have a map for you.
Cost
- No cost to Sage Orienteering Club members
- $5 for visitors from other Canadian and international orienteering clubs
- $5 per event for day-of-event participants to try it out before getting a club membership
