Orienteering BC Social and AGM
Join us for an end of season online social! There will be some orienteering-themed fun and games. Oh, yes, and also the Orienteering BC Annual General Meeting.
All members of an orienteering club in British Columbia are also members of Orienteering BC and can attend the Annual General Meeting. So that everyone from across the province can attend, the 2023 AGM of OBC is once again online.
The AGM is an important function for every non-profit organization. Not only do we briefly review the highs and lows from our past year of orienteering activity in BC, but we also elect those fine volunteers who have offered to help oversee the association’s activities in the coming year.
Candidates are always welcome for all board positions. At this year's AGM, we are looking for nominations for the following positions in particular:
- Vice President
- Treasurer
- Secretary
Assistance with assuming these roles will be provided by previous holders of the positions and/or other board members. If you are interested, or know someone who might be, please consider volunteering.
