Shuswap Middle School Salmon Arm Weeknights

The first of four weeknight events in Salmon Arm this fall, this event will take place on the freshly remade and expanded Shuswap Middle School map. 

Schedule:

• 5:30 - Registration Opens
• 5:45 - Courses Open
• 7:30 - Courses Close, all participants must report to the finish by this time.  It gets dark early, so please respect the volunteer organizers and be back by this time so we can clean up before dark.

Courses:

Four courses are offered: the beginner course will stay within the Shuswap Middle School grounds, while the intermediate and advanced courses will connect several other nearby greenways and schools as well.  The Elite course is for runners only, has several long route-choice legs, and is designed to be completed at speed.  

Parking:

Park in the lower parking lot of Shuswap Middle School.  The start and finish are right next to this parking lot.

Safety Precautions:

All of the courses (except maybe the beginner course) will cross major roads.  Please look both ways before you cross the road and be aware of other road users.

How to Sign Up for the Event:

1. Click the "+ Register" button next to your desired course. Follow the instructions. This signs you up for your course so we know how many people are at the event and how many maps to print of each course.
2. Purchase Membership (details below).  Membership is good for the calendar year, so if you purchased it in the spring it is still active.
3. Bring your 2$ entry fee.  This covers printing costs.
