Competitor Notes
The map is elderly just like your course planner and controllers. Edith Hill is a complex map and met the standards for 1990 but there are a few things that you should be aware of:
- Some unmarked selective logging
- Lots of unmarked rock features and cliffs
- The vegetation edges are not so clear as they once were because of vegetation growth
Access
0 k ….. after leaving Highway 5 at the 5A intersection … Rogers Way
4.1 k ….. turn right at Knutsford on to Long Lake Road
5.7 k . …. stay left on Long Lake Road
7.7 k ….. turn right on Edith Lake Road
13.1 k ….. turn right up small hill to big steel gate (see detailed gate instructions)
Follow signs from here to parking (about 1k)
Gate instructions
No access through big steel gate until 1pm.
After this time, please close gate behind you.
If the gate is closed when you arrive, go to the rear of the big hollow post on the right. Reach in through gap and push up on lever. This will release the latch on the gate. Please reclose the gate. You will hear the latch close.
